Dear Parents/Carers
I hope this message finds you well, keeping warm and enjoying the beauty of the snow.
Unfortunately, I must inform you that we have made the difficult decision to close the school again tomorrow due to the condition of the site and surrounding pathways. With overnight temperatures predicted to drop to -5°C and warnings issued by the Met Office, this step is necessary to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
Looking ahead, we are pleased to see that temperatures are forecast to be much warmer on Monday and we are confident that we will be able to resume the normal school day.
In the meantime, work will be set for students on Teams. Please refer to the guidance sent out yesterday if you are struggling to access any work.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support during these challenging circumstances. As you might imagine, this has not been the first week I had expected and I am very much looking forward to welcoming students back into school next week.
Yours sincerely
Linsey Hand
