Dear Parents/Carers
Given the current conditions in and around school and Met Office warning for further snow and ice, we have made the decision to remain closed tomorrow for the safety of our students. I have personally walked some of the routes our students will need to walk to get to school this afternoon as part of our ongoing assessment of risk and have encountered very dangerous patches of ice. Given the -4 temperatures predicted overnight and the Met Office warnings, we are making the decision today to close the school tomorrow.
Work will be set for students on Teams and we have attached a guide of how to access this for any students who are struggling to locate their set work.
This is not a decision that I have taken lightly, but ultimately, safety is the priority. Thank you for your ongoing support in these difficult circumstances.
Yours sincerely
Linsey Hand
